Finished! This portrait of my youngest niece Vera was made with Caran D'Ache Supracoor Soft pencils, Faber Castell Polychromos and Derwent Coloursoft. The size is 100 x 65 cm.
This is absolutely gorgeous! Really impressive :) I was wondering what type of canvas do you buy? Fine grain? Or is a special type of canvas??? That's how good your art is! I can't even tell the difference!!! :D
Hi Chloe, Thank you! I just use plain paper actually...it needs to be fairly thick and with a smooth surface. I like Winsor & Newton heavy weight cartridge paper, but this drawng was made on paper that doesn't have a particular brand.
Beautiful niece and a fabulous drawing. Good luck with your entry.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSeeing the photograph with you working at the easel shows just how big this drawing is - a mammoth undertaking!
Thanks Sue, it was great fun making this picture!
