These stray dogs were at the beach of Perissa, Santorini, in the summer of 2011.

Susan Brinkmann: As long as I can remember, I have drawn portraits of people and animals. Besides countless commissioned portraits, I have also made drawings of my son, and of my dogs (and famous people like Barack Obama, and Kofi Annan to show that I can create a good likeness!). I live in the south part of The Netherlands, Europe, with my husband, son and 2 dogs.
